The Area Agency on Aging 1-B is committed to progressive and innovative service delivery that is based on the most current research and demographic information that is available. Where information is lacking, the AAA 1-B conducts studies to identify older adult needs, or implements demonstration programs to identify effective service models.

- ACCESS is a quarterly newspaper produced by the Area Agency on Aging 1-B and contains information of interest to older adults and family caregivers. ACCESS is published in November, February, May and August. »
- Aging and Disability Resource Center (ADRC)
- <p>In partnership with the Ann Arbor Center for Independent Living, the Blue Water Center for Independent Living and the Disability Network Oakland and Macomb, the Area Agency on Aging 1-B is submitting an application to be recognized as an "Emerging ADRC" called the Southeast Michigan Aging and Disabiilty Resource Collaborative (SEMADRC) to the Michigan Office of Services to the Aging. </p>

- The Area Agency on Aging 1-B publishes an Annual Report at the end of each fiscal year that provides a summary of services provided and a copy of the audited financial report. »
