Extra Degree Award

The Extra Degree employee recognition program is based on principles of the motivational book, 212°. The book stresses how one extra degree of effort can have a profound effect.

The Extra Degree Award is given quarterly to an Area Agency on Aging 1-B employee who gives that extra degree of effort and personifies the principles set forth in the 212° book. Deanna Mitchell, Director of Administrative Services, is our current Extra Degree Award winner. Deanna was recognized for her exceptional work quality. Her achievements include her leadership in the agency's strategic planning initiative and human resources activities.
